best designer challenge #2

The best designer challenge aims to find people in the web-designing world that can make a range of quality graphics. It consists of 5 rounds:

• Round 1: Link Buttons (for your site or mine - either will do) - ?/3 points
• Round 2: Icons/Avatars - ?/5 points
• Round 3: Retouches - ?/7 points
• Round 4: Blends - ?/10 points
• Round 5: Coded Layouts - ?/15 points

You may choose any theme/topic you wish but you must stick to it! Try to be vague to give yourself more space to be creative (e.g don't say a specific person, item, etc.)

Rules

1. No stealing
2. No rude/abusive/offensive content
3. You must credit for all images/resources you use that are not your own
4. No insulting other entries or entrants
5. You can make the graphics available widely at your site if you wish
6. Entries must have your site name on
7. Entries must stick to their own theme
8. You must stick to deadlines and inform me when you have any problems
9. The email address you give must be checked regularly - all information will be sent to you via email

Prize

For first place:

• An award
• Major mention in my blog
• Advertisement in my sidebar for a month

For second place:

• An award
• Advertisement in my sidebar for a week
• A little mention in my blog

For third place:

• An award
• A tiny mention in my blog

For 4th - last place:

• An award saying how far you got

How it works

1. I'll wait until I have a reasonable amount of entries
2. Each entry is given a certain amount of points for each round
3. The biggest total at the end of it wins
